"Mirage" ~ Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia
This image was made by a lake in the Salar de Uyuni region of Bolivia in late 2016 during a backpacking adventure throughout Bolivia and Peru. It was at fairly high altitude, approximately 15,000 feet above sea level. And, to see this spot in person is the original reason I was enchanted enough to travel there.
